FAQs

Q: Why do you have two different writing styles?

A: My first love when it comes to writing is academic-style. I earned a graduate degree and honed my writing skills when I wrote my Thesis. Then, years later I started a blog and had trouble adjusting to blog writing.

Going from graduate-level thesis writing to blog writing was hard for me to get accustomed to. Going from complex sentence structures to single sentence paragraphs was hard for me to get accustomed to.

After a year of writing one Medium I gave up writing on a fifth-grade level. I started writing in the style I’m accustomed to on Substack. The reason it looks as if I’m writing in two different styles is, I’m transferring and updating my posts from Medium to my A Grain of Salt Substack.
